Old Town Charm

This iconic 115 year old pink "conch" house in the historic Old Town of Key West is a beautiful example of the kind of colonial architecture found throughout the Caribbean. The conch house style was developed in Key West by Bahamian immigrants, known as "Conchs". Many Bahamians had experience building boats, and the earliest conch houses were built like boats, using timber framing.
